Secondary "Google  Calendars" don't sync with  blackberry calendary, outlook, etc

A client wants to  sync her blackberry calendar with her gmail / google calendars - including  secondary calendars.NOT  just her "primary" calendar.

Google has a synch tool for syncing with both blackberries / mobile de4vices, and with outlook -- but they only synch the main, "primary" calendary in  google.

I  looked for options to merge or consolidate one gmail  account's calendars,  but nothing was workable or simple.

A verizon guy said, export the secondary calendars as ical  files, and import the to outlook, and then  sync with blackberry. But I get  thish error when I try to import:
Microsoft Office Outlook
icalendar import failed. the input file may be corrupt. you don't have  appropriate permission to perform this operation

Googled this error, no workable answers

I asked the user if  she was  willing to use multiple gmail  accounts for this, but she said no. (and for good reason -- in that case you wouldn't be able to overlap the calendars)

any advice help will be appreciated.
