The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Palm Treo 750 ActiveSync Issue Overseas

Guys,

We have a colleague currently in London having issues with his Palm Treo 750.  He's able to make calls and connect to the Internet via Vodafone/O2 network.  However, he's having issues with ActiveSync connecting to MS Exchange Server 2003 which is based in Australia.  Our local provider is Telstra - Next G.  Global/International roaming is enabled.  He was able to receive emails while he was having issues with the Treo 750 on the first few days.  After that, it stopped working for him completely and not able to receive one email at all.  

He's been getting 0X80070008 at first, but now just 0X80070008.  We have done a Soft reset, changing the wireless settings as specified on Palm Support Site.  We even contacted Palm Support, emailing backwards and forward without any success.

Does anyone have a solution to fix this issue instead of doing a Hard Reset as recommended by Palm Support.  I just worried we have even more trouble, troubleshooting over the phone to get his phone reconfigured.

Any help would be appreciated.
