How to implement J2ME applications using SQLite as backend db in Mobile handsets
We are developing application in Mobile device, which need to poll the SQLite database. The language we are using for the development is J2ME. We would like to have the help on how to connect with the DB and also, we need the information in the JDBC driver in J2ME to connect to the SQLite DB in the device (device could be a Pocket PC, Windows mobile, Symbian... and others which supports J2ME). Please help us out in this regard.

There is no support for SQLite in J2ME. Would it be possible to use JavaDB instead?

"Applications running in a J2ME CDC (e.g., PDA) environment that need a small size (2MB) without sacrificing functionality: full SQL support, transaction management, stored procedures, triggers, concurrency, and backups."
That should work for higher end devices. You will need to program with CDC and not CLDC (which uses rms instead of a full fledged database.)
