I have been using a Treo 750v running WM6 and connecting it to Outlook via our webmail connections and effortlessly syncing my mail. I have been running this for about 90 days with no issues. About a week ago my Treo stopped syncing. It was connecting to the server and folder, by when it tried to sync it said Synchronization Error. I found an error message in ActiveSync on the Treo (0x85010014). I googled it but I could not find anything that worked. It is not due to a new SSL requirement as I have been using an SSL connection from the start.
My boss and I both use Treo750's with the setup described above. I am running Windows Vista Buisiness (Windows Mobile Device Manager) and he is running XP Pro (ActiveSync 4.5). Both phones stopped working at the same time so I knew it was not the Treo's. I am not an Exchange Admin, just a user so I cannot hop on the server and make changes. Based on what I have found on the net, I think my issue is due to a settiing that may have changed on the Exchange server. I am at odds with my IT dept (which is small) so asking them to help me with this is useless as the rest of the organization uses Blackberry's. I do have someone that works for me that can get on the Exchange server to see how it is set up.
If I can determine what is causing this, I think I can ask them to peform the task, but asking for help is useless. Can anyone help me with this?
