What about connecting to a fedora workstation via your iphone? Are there any solutions out there for that which will display x windows back to the iphone?

Can anyone provide a solid solution for attempting to connect to windows base servers via terminal services/remote desktop from an Apple Iphone? Please advise. I am very open to any solution that would work on the Apple Iphone.

You can use VNC. You will need to setup a VNC server on your Fedora box. Then you can use that VNC client for the iPhone to connect to your Linux Xwindows.

This article says the WebVNC could work with Linux: The WebVNC work could allow a VNC solution to be created that would work on Linux as well as on PCs and Macs.

As for something that works with Terminal Services? There isn't anything. Yet. See here (the Remote Desktop over Web provided through IIS requires mentioned in this thread works by running an ActiveX Control, so this wouldn't work on the iPhone either.)

Sorry :( Maybe Microsoft will develop a client for the iPhone like it did for the Mac OS in the near future.
