Run Apache + PHP on Windows Mobile 5.0

Dear Experts,

I would be VERY interested to know how can I install Apache, PHP and possibly MySQL on my PDA (Dell Axim X51v) that is running Windows Mobile 5.0.

I am comfortable with recompiling everything from source code, and can follow instructions to compile them for a different processor type (ARM?) if need be.

Please let me know if this has been done, and if so how could I do the same.

Michael,

Thank you very much for taking time to look at my question.

You see, I am a PHP developer. What I'd like to do is take any PHP application that I happen to work at, put it on my PDA and continue to develop it while on the road.

Thus VB.NET and SQL Server CE is not interesting for me.

I've seen others reflashing their PDA with a Linux based OS and then recompiling Apache and PHP for ARM processor. However, I am not interested in replacing Windows Mobile by Linux on my PDA.

But I would assume since both Apache and PHP are open source, and C compilers exist that produce native ARM code that a similar solution may exist for Windows Mobile.

This is what I'm looking for, and any help experts can offer in this direction is highly appreciated.

you can try this maybe but its geared for Window CE not thew mobile edition
