The Solution Rating System
|
||
|
With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.
Your Input Matters If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support. Thank you! |

The selected folders are stored and displayed in a listbox control on a custom dialog I created.
EditBackupFolder is an edit box where a folder is selected as a backup location
nCount is the number of items in the listbox control
CtrlGetText(svDialogName,EditBackupFolder,sTemp1);
nCount = ListCount(listID);
if (nCount > 0) && sTemp1 = "" then
MessageBox ("No backup Folder selected.",WARNING);
elseif (nCount > 0) && sTemp1 != "" then
//Check if specified folder exists.
if (ExistsDir(sTemp1) = EXISTS) then
nIndex = 0;
nResult = ListSetIndex (listID, nIndex);
//Loop while there are items to display.
while (nResult != END_OF_LIST)
// Get the current list item.
ListCurrentString (listID, sTemp);
sFind = "\\";
sReplace = "\\\\";
sFind1 = ".";
nStart = 0;
StrReplace (sTemp, sFind, sReplace, nStart );
StrReplace (sTemp1, sFind, sReplace, nStart );
nLocation = StrFind(sTemp, sFind1);
if (nLocation > 0) then
//File
copyResult = XCopyFile(sTemp, sTemp1,COMP_NORMAL);
else
//Folder
copyResult = XCopyFile(sTemp ^ "*.*", sTemp1, INCLUDE_SUBDIR);
