MSI error "SoftwareDistribution\DataStore\Logs\tmp.edb" locked...what does it mean?

I have been experimenting with installing MSI packages involving some web apps at work, to Xp Pcs.

I have one that when I try to install it produces this error 'Another application has exclusive access to the file 'C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\DataStore\Logs\tmp.edb'.  Please shut down all other applications, then click Retry.

I've rebooted, used the MS Uninstaller Utility, tried it with the Windows Installer Srevice turned off an on with the same error. Does anyone know how to tell what is locking the tmp.edb file?Start Free Trial
