Blackberry Storm won't power on

Blackberry storm battery was low and then went off. Charged it since friday but it's not powering up. Only the red light keeps blinking off and on.

Could it be your charger isn't working? Try plugging in the USB lead to your PC, leave it for a while. Now leave it plugged into the usb but take the battery out and put it back in. This will reboot the handset. See if that works.

I've tried with another battery but it didn't power up, I've also charged using the USB to the PC, same thing. I 'll try removing the battery while it's charging to the PC and get back to you. Thanks

I removed the battery while it was plugged to the PC and tried again, still didn't power up, the red LED keep on blinking only when I'm charging either by AC or PC connection. I couldn't also boot up in safe mode.

when this happened, were you in a cooler environment than before or was the phone subjected to extreme cold? how long have you had the battery and was the issue sudden or was the battery not performing well for the last few days?

Oops! Since you have tried with another battery as well, best to give the phone to a servicing company and have it checked out asap.

I agree with upul007. As you've tried different methods of charging and different batteries, I think you should take it for repair as the handset must have a fault.
