How To get unmanaged Symantec AV to auto update?

Hi Guys,

I've got a script that lets me install Symantec AV unattended with an unmanaged install.

but I'd like to know if i can change it so that the AV will automatically run live update and update the lot.

any ideas or solutions would be greatly aperciated

Here is Symantec's document about automating liveupdate on an unmanaged client:  Not sure if it will help any though.

In terms of scripting -  I cannot help you on that one I'm afraid.

If you look at page 208 of the following document there is the runliveupdate=1 switch which you don't have in your current script:
