Functions to count number of days in excel from two different dates

Hi,

I want to calculate difference (no. of days) between two dates in excel. I want to know which functions & how to use it.

You can just subtract one date from the other, e.g. if you have a date in A1 and a later date in B1 then you can use this worksheet formula to get the difference

=B1-A1

Hi,

There is also another function which excludes non working days or holidays but it requires you to install Excel's Analysis ToolPak add-in:

NETWORKDAYS(start_date,end_date,holidays)
