Asked by keland44 in Red Hat Linux, RPM Installer, Linux Setup
I have gone through the process of installing GCC via the configure make process but I get errors when running the make.
I downloaded Fedora Core 10 64 Bit Edition which has the 4.3.2 gcc but it will not let me install. I am not able to use up2date on this system given that it is blocked via security. Are there any suggestions or directions someone would have on installing this software? Any help would be great.
I have also tried to do a rpm -Uvh --nodeps it will install but when I do a gcc -v it does not return the version number.
