Question

Simple Math Problem: System.Math Rounding Up

I am trying to divide 2 numbers and if there is a remainder in the division problem, I want it to automatically round to the next whole number.  What is the easiest way to do this in the code behind?

An example would be 11/2 = 5.5, so I want it to automatically return 6.

Use ceiling....

Try
Console.WriteLine("Ceiling(1.1), Ceiling(0.9) = " & Math.Ceiling(1.1) & " " & Math.Ceiling(0.9))

but remember NOT to use integer division, cast your numbers to doubles first.
