how to open mail of gmail inbox in vb.net2003 coding?

I have opened my gmail account window . I have 100 mail in my inbox. already I have opened 4 mails. I didnot open 96 mails.
I want to write programme in vb.net2003 for checking which is opened message, which is unopened message till now, if a message was not opened till now how to click it for opening?
