Can Object Pooling help to improve web application response time?

I am trying to find ways to improve application performation. One of the ways is object pooling. Like this:

Have anybody tried to use Object Pooling in their web applications? Did you see any response time improvement?

it will definitely improve the performance, if the users are connected simulatenously to your application, and the object is a frequently accessed one.

For Eg: Connection pooling improves the performance, when simulataneous users access is there.

But, i don't have any metrics.
