Browse All TopicsAfter receiving authentication errors when attempting to debug my web project via VS2008 IDE I located a solution on EE which recommends uninstalling ALL .NET framework and reinstall. I did this, I can execute and load the web site via the debugger. This seemed to create a new problem, I cannot added an existing "class library" project to the solution; the message, could not load Microsoft.Build.Engine, V=3.5.0. I uninstalled v3.5 and reverted back to the latest release of 2.n.
I need to load a web site and a class library in the same solution.
Questions:
Should I reinstall 3.5 again (I don't want to loose debug capability)?
Can I revert/convert the project back to 2.n?
Thanks in advance!
Please advise,
Tim

I reinstalled the latest .NET 3.5 distribution and the web project and all class libraries are working correctly.
