window.open with forms authentication

Asked by qfwp in Programming for ASP.NET

Tags: session

Hi, i have an application that uses forms authentication.  After logging-in with MSIE, any popup window that the user opens shows the logon page in the popup, rather than persisting their current session.

Logging-in and clicking to open a popup window with Firefox persists the session/authentication fine.

Anybody any ideas on a solution or a nice work-around to this?

Thanks.
