Setting textbox values to be used dynamically from MSSQL DB

Hi all.
I am trying to work out how I can do th following.

I will have a few textboxes on a page and will enter data from any combination of these to a table. What I want to do is take a value for the step being processed and look up a table to see which textbox will be used for the data to be entered to the insert statement.

i.e.

txtDATA1
txtDATA2
etc will be on the page, I will query thetable which will return the row for that step in the process so my dr("Text_Box_To_Use") value will be either txtDATA1.text or txtDATA2.text
I will then set the parameter for the insert statement = dr("Text_Box_To_Use").tostring (or something like that)

At the moment if i use dr("Text_Box_To_Use") it simpl enters "txtDATA1.text" into the insert statement.
How can I use the value in the textbox field chosen via the DB table.
