Using a web service how would you receive large amounts of data? For example lets say we have 1000+ users that all want to upload 2-10mb of data. How would I go about implementing that into a web service? Obviously there may be issues with memory if I were to just accept a string.

Hi,
 If it is in intranet and no problem about firewall and same platform then choose Remoting. That use binary only. That is better in performance also

You should be using "Background Intelligent Transfer Service" to accomplish this issue.
