Can you add an uncompiled file to a compiled ASP.Net application.

Is it possible to replace a single compiled .aspx file inside a folder full of compiled files with an uncompiled one?  This would make things easier for me to debug at a remote site.

I tried replacing the file and deleting (renaming, actually) the .compiled file inside /bin, but it just caused an error 'File has not been pre-compiled and cannot be requested'.  To be honest, I wasn't surprised, and I expect that it can't be done, but I would like to ask anyway.Start Free Trial
