Browse All TopicsMy web servers runs 2 version of .net runtime 1.1 and 2.0. I already install ASP.Net State Server (from .net 2.0 runtime).
I'm going to switch session management in every web application (which is using .net 2.0) to Out Proc mode (using State Server from .net 2.0)
Is it posibble for web application (using .net 1.1) use ASP.Net State Server from .net 2.0 ?

Hi Aryo1,
I think the simplest way to do this is to store the session in SQL Server.
So I think you could share the sessions using the different runtime and I think 1.1 and 2.0 framework use the same process to store session in SQL Server.
