Hmmm, you are setting PostBackUrl in the btnSubmit_Click event handler, which occurs after the page is posted back. I would set the PostBackUrl much earlier in the process, like in the Page_Load event handler.

Browse All TopicsI have some problem with using PreviousPage. Whenever I tries to access PreviousPage, my browser redirects me to default.aspx! I really don't understand why.
Part of my editUser.aspx.cs
After I click btnSubmit once, it will remain on editUser.aspx to show confirmation page.
After I click 2nd time, it should submit all form fields to editUserAck.aspx.
protected void btnSubmit_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
// Others
this.btnSubmit.PostBackUrl
// Others
}
Part of my editUserAck.aspx page.
protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
///////////////////// Below access to PreviousPage got problem!!! ///////////
// illegal access to page
if (PreviousPage == null || !PreviousPage.IsCrossPageP
{
Response.Redirect("../defa
Response.End();
}
if (!Page.IsPostBack)
UpdateUser();
}
I even tried to do this but nothing seems to work properly.
try
{
if (PreviousPage == null)
Response.Write("NULL HERE");
else
Response.Write("NOT NULL HERE");
}
catch (Exception ex)
{
Response.Write(ex.ToString
}
Response.End();
No exception.. Nothing.. It just bring me to default.aspx.
