I am a mid - senior level ASP.NET developer looking for contract work in San Francisco. If I were to work as an employee of an IT staffing/recruiting firm how much per hour can I (mid-senior level) expect in SF? Please give as much insights on this type of contract work (preferably insights on contract work in SF) as possible. For example, what do I need to know about this type of work? What do I need to know about the staffing firm? What are the interviewing processes like? How much can I expect?
Would like to hear from someone who has done this type of contract in SF or someone from IT staffing/recruiting firm.

Insignts from someone who has done similar contract work or from an IT staffing firm would be really helpful.
