Remove column from gridview based on partial name

Zones: Programming for ASP.NET, Microsoft Visual Basic.Net, .Net Editors & IDEs

Have a gridview that auto generates columns and need to remove/hide columns that start with "HOLD". As columns are always different and in a different order I can not statically enter the names or columns numbers.

On a side question how do you set the cell format for a date (DD/MM/YYYY)?

I have attached my current code below that changes the backgound color.
