Question

Page not Calling OnInit()

I have a project that flows through several pages

Directions.aspx -> Questions.aspx ->  Directions.aspx ->Questions.aspx

Everything is fine if the pages are progressed when a button is used and Response.Redirect moves the page on button_click.

However there is a scenerio when I need to play audio.

Directions.aspx - > PlayAudio.aspx -> Questions.aspx

The flash file uses NavigateToURL() to go from playAudio to Questions, but when the questions page load the onInit() method is never called.  How do I correctly force the page to post from the flash file?

How do you make sure that onInit() function fires???

Method name should be OnInit.

Can you show some code?

make sure it's in format below:

I figured it out, the OnInit wasnt being called on a redirect without postback.  I added code to disable caching and it works when redirected or postback now.
