I'm using a listview with a datapager. When a user selects the "next" button, I need to hide a label control elsewhere on the page. It seems there are no events for the datapager, is this correct? Is there another way I can accomplish what I need?

Yeah it is correct that no events are exposed by datapager for next previous events and also no event fo selectedindexchnaged . The events exposed by datapager are mentioned in the link

may be you can try with the databind event.
