highlight textbox in asp.net serverside

if i can highlight text box in asp.net on serverside that would be great if not please let me explain what i would like to do.

i have a dropdownlist and once the selectedindex is changed, the textbox will turn visible = true. and i set txtbox1.focuse. now how do i make it select everything in the textbox (assume that i have default value for the textbox).

i have done this on page load but it does nothing
  txtbox.Attributes.Add("onFocus", "document.getElementById('ctl00$Body$txtbox').select();")

if i click in the textbox, it will select, but it won't automatically seclect by txtbox1.focus command on the serverside. so please help me if you know how to do this. thank you

Try below within page_load, rename dropdownlist with the name of your own dropdownlist.

on auto post back of dropdown funcion write this line

none are working onchange won't work in dropdown.
