I have few doubts in this approach. I have studied the StockTrade sample application available on Microsoft.
And few other samples as well.
What I noticed is they keep a copy of business/Modal objects on every layer (presentation, business and data layer).
I want to know what is the reason for doing this? And how we can keep these three copies synchronized?
If the make changes in the Business/Modal objects then we have to manually make the changes in all the places or is there any different way of doing this?

All your code for model/business objects would be in a separate library, and then all of your layers would reference that library.
This way when you make changes, you would alter this one library and rebuild all your other layers and they would pick up the updated version of the your business/model library.
