VB.net syntax

I can do this in SQL, but I don't know how to do in VB

if var1 in ('A', 'B', 'C') then
var2 = "Low"
end if

I don't want to have to write
IF var1 = "A" or var1 = "B" or var1 = "C" then
var2 = "Low"
end if


how do you do the "In" command?

I'm sure there are other ways...but one is to use a Case Statement...like:

                    Select Case var1
                        Case "A", "B", "C"
                            var2 = "Low"
                        Case "D"
                            var2 = "Something else"
                        Case Else
                            var2 = ""
