Asked by strickdd in Programming for ASP.NET, Windows 7, Microsoft IIS Web Server
I am trying to debug (hit F5) a web application using Visual Studio 2008 on a Windows 7 computer. I have set up the Windows Authentication and all the IIS 6 compatibility options. I am running VS08 as Administrator compatibility and I use an active directory (AD) user as the anonymous access for trusted connections.
When I debug I get the error "Unable to start debugging on the web server. You do not have permissions to debug the web server process. You need to either be running as the same user account as the web server, or have administrator privilege."
Anyone know how to fix this?
