oops... my mistake: set causesvalidation to false for the link controls

Browse All TopicsI have a form that sits on .aspx. When a submit button is clicked validations are performed to make sure the data entered is good. Just like you would expect. Problem is that I have other links on the page (one of these links is to simply to leave the page) that need to work at any given time. These have nothing to do with the form on the page.
So right now if validation is performed and one of the values entered fails validation, all of the other links that do not pertain to the form are suddenly disabled. (User cannot leave the page and is effectively stuck) Is there a way to ensure everything else on the page stays functional if an entered value fails validation.
