How do I add optional parameters to a webmethod?

Tags: vb.net 8, Attribute "WebMethod" cannot be applied to a method with optional parameters.

I have a webmethod that I need to change so that I can pass it optional parameters. It doesn't seem to want to accept these parameters and before I write a new webmethod I would like to know if anyone knows how to get around this. The webmethod already takes in 5 parameters. Start Free Trial
