I am having a problem with a fairly simple LINQ statement where the order by clause is not working. I have found out that this is because I am using "distinct" in the statement. I identified this as the issue from this web site

My statement is below. I note this can be rectified with lambda expressions ala the website above but i have no idea how to implement them in this situation.
Experts how do I modify this statement to make it order by ledger.tran_type??

Visual Basic does not support Lamda expressions so you need to use in-line functions. see updated code below.
