Compact Framework, DataSets, DataTables, DataGrids

Just some questions about all these things.  What is the difference (relationship) between DataSets and DataTables.  I see that in the Compact Framework you cannont bind a datagrid to a dataset.  Can you bind it to a Datatable?  I want to fill a datatable with data from the user and then have it displayed in a datagrid.  How is this done?
