With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not?   • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. Abort form load

On form load, I am filling datatables within a dataset that are the basis of a crystal report (displayed in the crystal report viewer).

Once the first datatable has been filled I want to count the rows to see if there is any data.  If row count is 0 then I want to bring up a message box that informs the user that there is no data to display and then stop form load and close the form.

I cannot call "me.close" or "me.dispose" in form load as I get the error "Cannot call Close() while doing CreateHandle"

How can I achieve what I need?
