I have a masked edit with myMaskedEdit.Mask = "99999-9999".
If I say myMaskEdit.Text = mytext the text box is empty.
Is there any way I can populate these boxes? I need to be able to enter and dislay phone numbers and zip codes amoung other things.

The help says:
"This property sets and retrieves the text in the Masked Edit control, including literal characters and underscores that are part of the input mask. When setting the Text property, the string$ value must match the characters in the input mask exactly, including literal characters and underscores."
However, the actual control does not work this way. If I set the mask to something as simple as "9" and the Text to "5" I still get a blank edit box.
Is the control your using available to the public?
Ours is a derivative from this one =) It's easy to use, and he gives LOTS of examples.
