Front Page Server Extensions undesirable

I have just downloaded Visual Studio 200 Express. However it says that it needs Frontpage server extensions enabled on my IIS webserver in order to use it to work with websites.
However when I enable frontpage server extensions it creates multiple copies of _vti folders (everywhere).
Is there any way to avoid creating these folders? Or, operate Visual Studio 200 Express without needing Front page server extensions?Start Free Trial
