Browse All TopicsI just wanted to know if any body else is having problems with visual studio 2005.
My complaint is that it is sooo much slower then 2003. It uses around 500mb RAM and when i'm stepping through code it's up to 600mb.... 2003 used nothing close to this.
Anyone having the same problem? We need to update all our RAM now!!!!

I've tried it on several machines and different operating systems (XP, 2003 server, Vista) and it does take much more resources than 2003 on either of those. But then again, it does so much more too .... I think the quick and chepest solution is to buy more RAM, it seems to like it when the machine has a lot of RAM (on and over 1GB)
