Well, if you are using Visual Studio 2005 use the Load Test methods. Create a WebTest that uses you webservice. Then create a Load Test that runs your WebTest with the configuration you want. You can easily configure the numbers of users, warmup time and other settings.
The only drawback is that the Load Test functions are not included in all versions of Visual Studio 2005. But if you have a version with the Load Test functions it is easy to use. For more information about the versions of Visual Studio 2005 take a look here.
