Question
using Nant to build VS2005 projects
I'm getting errors when I try to build a VS2005 project (converted from VS2003) with Nant 8.5:
Error loading GUID of project........
XXX.csproj file is not valid. There is no "ProjectGuid" attribute on the <PropertyGroup.../>
(even though there is..)
Does anyone have a sample nant script that solves this dilemma of building after a conversion
from VS2003 to VS2005 or can explain why and what to do to resolve this?

It sounds like you don't have the right VS.NET 2005 templates.
Specifically: I bet the "Visual Studio 2005 Web Application Projects" were used to "convert" the projects from VS 2003 to VS 2005.
Probably, you need to install these on the build server.
ISSUE: project requires: "Visual Studio 2005 Web Application Projects".

The "VS2005 Web Application Projects" allow developers
to use projects similar to VS2003 web projects.
First, install the prerequisite:
VS80-KB915364-X86-ENU.exe
available from:
http://www.microsoft.com/d
Then, install:
