Browse All TopicsI want to generate some sort of help documentation on my class library (i.e. Utilities.dll) and I've found two options, NDoc and SandCastle. NDoc isn't compatible w/ .Net 2.0 from what I understand and when I try to use HTML Help Workshop in the final step when using SandCastle, i get the following error:
HHC6000: Error: An internal file could not be created. Make certain there is enough disk space on the drive where you are compiling your file.
HHC5007: Error: Fatal navigational compilation error. This is likely the result of an invalid contents (.hhc) file.
The following files were not compiled:
I am using this page as reference: https://blogs.msdn.com/san
Are there any alternatives, or is there a way to fix the error i'm getting? It generates the .chm file, but the images don't work and the "Contents" don't display.
Thanks for any help.

One cause for the HTMLHelp Workshop Compiler error maybe to have HTML files without <H1>, <H2>, ..items.

So, please uncheck the option "Automatically create contents file (*.hhc) when compiling" at the project options "Files" tab.
