How to create an Custom Error page

HI, i want to know, how to create an custom error page  in asp.net (vb)

do i need to create pages for different type of errors ??
or just one custom page will show all kind of error ??

like,- page does not found or if any kind problem it will show " there is some technical problem, please try some other timer"

You will need to configure pages different type of errors but the error page can be the same.

the System.Web.UI.Page from which all your pages inherit (directly or indirectly) has an OnError, which you can override, so you can handle the error (eg log it etc) and redirect to an appropriate error page, using Server.Transfer or Response.Redirect.

1.Create Custom Error page
2.On Web.config file modify the line
 <customErrors mode="Off"/>
       to
<customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="CustomError.aspx"/>

3.In Custom error page on page load event add code
Protected Sub Page_Load(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Me.Load
        Dim ErrorPath As String = Request.QueryString("aspxerrorpath")

'where aspxerrorpath is QueryString parameter(key)      - name as string
