Use DirectoryInfo.GetFiles method to get a list of all files in each directory.
Then loop through list1. Use File.Exists with the filename from list1 to check in path2.
Then use File.Move.

Browse All TopicsI'm trying to write a little app that moves all files from folder A to folder B. If files in folder A already exist in folder B, add the date to the beginning of their name and then move them to folder B.
I've got two textboxes with a path in them, One to folder A and one with the path to folder B.
What would the code be to figure out what files were in each folder?
Any code would be greatly appreciated!!!
