How do I pass the 50 or so variables from the vb.net app to the dll?

The software parses the original string and rebuilds it to pass to the dll where the 'split' method is used to create an array. The array elements populate an RDO recordset which updates the accounting system.
Split method would also work in a vb.net dll for other accounting systems which is why I preferred it - I also wanted to avoid creating other files.

You have a couple of solutions:
-In your .Net app, create a XML document that contains all your value and pass it to your VB6 dll
-In your VB6 app, create a class exposing a constructor that accepts all the variables
-In your VB6 app, create a class exposing all properties and set them one by one
-In your .Net app, concatenate all the values into a string with a special delimiter and use the Split method of VB6 to create an array from it
