Question

DNN Module, Export Content Menu. Missing 1st element of menu

I created a module consisting of view, settings, viewsinglerecord and edit controls. When I imported the module it imported correctly with all controls for the module. When I use the module something odd, the drop down menu of the module control is missing the label of the first element of the menu. Import Settings, Export Settings, Edit, Move, Print, Help and Delete are there. Another observation, the label of the first control is not displayed in the drop down and the control seems to be missing it on the module definition. Not sure if this is the same issue.

I think I found the problem. The IActionable Interface is implemented in the View page but not the Edit page (there is also a Settings page). The default (visible) view when placing the module on a page is Edit and it should be View.

How does one modify a Module's initial start page? Or is it necessary to do so?

The modules pages:

view order
0 = View
1 = Edit
2 = Settings

I figured it out. The solution is as follows:

Under Desktop Modules:
Create directory: App_LocalResources
move all .resx files to the app_localresource
Modify the label for page of type VIEW. Resx AddContent.Action
Ensure the View Page inherits IActionable and ModuleActions interface is implemented.
