Browse All TopicsHi, I have the standard calendar control on a ASP.NET page. When the page loads I want the calendar to show the current date plus one year. I also have a VB.NET command button on the page that enters the date into a database, the problem is that when I click the command button the date on the Calendar control always reverts back to the current date plus one year, regardless of what the user has entered. This is because when clicking the command button the page is reloading. Can I get round this problem?

Easy - just set the initial value when the page first loads, not during a PostBack.
