The dataset consists of multiple tables each has relation back to the PARENT table (Items). Using the Datatable relation, how do add a column to the DATAGRID. I want to add the PART NUMBER column to the child table using the item_id relation.
For example, I bind the following DATASET tables to a DATAGRID as follows:
dataGridItems.DataSource = XmlData1.Tables["Item"]; Relation Item_ID
dataGridPackages.DataSourc
dataGridPrices.DataSource = XmlData1.Tables["Prices"];
This DATAGRID looks something like:
ITEM Datagrid:
Item_ID Part Number Number Item Description
0 10090 Test Item1
1 10110 Test Item2
2 10120 Test Item3
Packages DataGrid
Package_ID Package Number ? Part Number Number
0 V1200 ? Get from Item Grid
0 X9000
How can I get the PART NUMBER column from the from the ItemGrid?
