skip all alpha characters in vb

Hello

Hello i have a dropdown list with a name and a price in it, i need to skip all aplha characters  and just read the price.

EXMAPLE
test1  10.00
test2  20.00
test the app 30.00

I NEED
10.00
20.00
30.00

i have tried this exmaple and it does not work from both links here is my edited code from link 2

Which version of VB.NET are you using, meaning is this a VB 2.0 or VB 3.5 application?

If you're using VB 3.5 then it's a very, very simple fix... I haven't tested this, but I believe it's right. If not, it's very close.

Dim strAlpha As String = "abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ"

For Each c as Char in theString.ToCharArray
    Dim eligible as Boolean = True

Just tested my earlier suggestion. I had to make a small correction, but it will work no matter what format you're using to present your text, even if there are no spaces in the string.

Here's the working example:

Dim strAlpha As String = "abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ "
