How To Pass String With Quatation Marks?

Hey everyone,

I need to pass a string like this "MyString" but it needs to include the quotation marks, I've tried to put in additional quotes around my string but it keeps opening/closing the string in the wrong place.

I know it's a newbie question, but it's really bugging me.

\" reperents the Quatation Mark in c#.

if i want "MyString" out put then i will write

"\"MyString\""

and if i want "My\String" out put then i will write

"\"My\String\""

\ is an escape character. which is not shown but indicates the next character is part of the string.

If you wanted a \ in your string you would use \\

You can also use a literal string prefixed with a '@'. In a string with @ preceding it, double quotes ("") represent a single quote and do not enter/exit it

string str1 = @"""MyString""";
// "MyString"
 
string str2 = @"abcd""egf""hijk";
// abcd"efg"hijk
