Hi
You have to add asp:TextBox, not normal html input fields. The RequiredField Validator works only with server-side controls.

Browse All TopicsI am trying to add requiredValdiator. When I am about to choose ControltoValidate there is nothing to choose. Why? I got two input fields that should be visible there.

Nope. No it start complaining I got A page can have only one server-side Form tag. on my master-page.
I add my hole project again. Easier for you to see it then.
One thing. I added a new button and this made the required field to show up but then it directly went on to the next page (of couse this has with the form to do)
